SeaPort Moving & Storage Takes the Stress Out of Moving
At SeaPort Moving & Storage we understand that moving locally can be a thrilling yet stressful experience. From start to finish our team will be there to answer all your questions. We want you to know up front how local moving charges are determined.
Prior to scheduling your move one of our experienced relocation consultants will provide you with a quote and help answer all your questions. They can even set you up with a free on-site estimate. On-site estimates allow our estimator to see the items prior to the move day and therefore provide a more accurate quote.
Local moves are charged at an hourly rate based upon the number of movers and trucks needed. This rate includes packing but does not include any packing material fees. We will professionally wrap your furniture in padded moving blankets at no additional cost. The move rate includes basic valuation coverage at .60/lb/article. The move time will start upon the arrival of the vehicle at the point of origin and will cease at the time of completion of the service at the point of destination. There is no travel time charge to and from our office!
